I’m driven by one mission: to instil unshakeable self-confidence in builders — to help them back themselves, run successful and lasting businesses, and deliver exceptional outcomes without sacrificing their health, family or future.
Like most builders, I started on the tools. Running jobs, growing a business, raising a family, I did everything possible to keep things going. But behind the scenes, I was stretched thin. I’d delivered projects, but the pressure didn’t let up. I was in deep debt, money was slipping through my hands, and my mental health was rock bottom. I couldn’t see a clear way forward. Many times I wanted to completely give up.
What changed? I stopped doing things the way they’d always been done.
I restructured my company, D Pearce Constructions, with a commitment to build smarter — not harder. That decision led to delivering 122 custom homes worth over $70 million, employing more than 100 people, and training 26 apprentices. But it only happened when I backed myself to lead differently.
From there, my wife Camille and I made another decision: to build real wealth, not for show, but for freedom. We’d never been taught how. But we committed to learning. Today, we’ve developed 16 properties, manage $22 million in real estate, and hold a growing investment portfolio, giving our daughters the stability we didn’t grow up with.
But I’m not here to just talk about numbers.
I’m here to share what I’ve lived and to help others build with intention, belief, and a better standard. That’s why I created Level Up, a platform to bring builders together through real talk and real solutions. Through the Level Up Podcast and Level Up Live Event, I’m opening up the conversations we need to have — about money, burnout, mindset and meaning — so we can lead better lives, not just better builds.
I’m also the co-founder of Live Life Build, a membership and movement that’s supported thousands of builders across Australia and New Zealand with strategy, coaching, and community. And I’ve built tools like QuoteEaze to make quoting simpler and more profitable, and launched a growing merch shop that gives back to the building community.
This isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s a real one.
And if what I’ve lived helps one builder back themselves, build smarter and believe in something better — that’s exactly why I’m here.
Let’s raise the standard. Together.
